Students across the country are learning about their educational options online through their university’s online student information systems, which offer student information for everything from university classes to job openings.
But while these systems have become a hot topic in recent months, their popularity is largely tied to a growing number of them being used by colleges and universities across the US.
The latest survey by The Information, a research firm, surveyed more than 1,000 US colleges and university students.
They found that students were increasingly opting to use these systems to track their progress in school.
The survey found that 63% of students used a university’s student information service in the past 12 months, up from 50% in 2016.
In fact, the percentage of students who used a student information platform increased from 49% in 2014 to 54% in 2018.
The data also suggests that students are increasingly using these platforms to plan and track their college or university life.
In the past year, more than 30% of respondents said they used a system to plan or track their academic plans, compared with 17% in the prior year.
This is an increase of nearly 40%.
More than a third of students (35%) said they use a system that tracks how they are doing academically, compared to 10% in 2017.
Of the students surveyed, 44% said they were planning to use a student assistance program, while 14% were using a financial aid program.
Students also reported they were interested in tracking their own financial aid and student loan balances.
However, the most frequent reason for students using these systems was to learn more about a particular program.
More than one in five (19%) students said they would use the student information program to learn about the program, compared for the same period last year.
The majority of students also said that the most important part of the information they were receiving was the information about the programs they were enrolled in.
The Information surveyed students at a number of US colleges, including the University of Florida, Washington University in St. Louis, the University at Buffalo, the City College of New York, and the University in Chicago.
